D Adjust the Eject Stopper in accordance with the document. Confirming Proper Document Feeding Depending on the thickness of documents scanned with the CR-L1 and the paper thickness setting, double feeds or feeding errors may occur. After installing the CR-L1 or before scanning documents of a different thickness, perform the procedure below to confirm that documents are separated one sheet at a time. If documents do not feed properly, see "Adjusting the Separation Roller Gap," on p. 40 to adjust for paper thickness. A Start the Scanning Utility. E Instruct scanning to start from the software application. NOTE • When Using the Accompanying Scanning Utility for CR-50/80/L1 (or CR50&80&L1): There are three scanning methods as follows. Follow the each instruction. Scan 1 page Click [Scan Page] from the [File] menu. Scan Batch to File A Click [Scan Batch to File] from the [File] menu. B Input the File name, and then click [Save]. C Select Simplex or Duplex, and then click [Start Scanning]. Scan Batch to Printer A Click [Scan Batch to Printer] from the [File] menu. B Select Simplex or Duplex, and then click [Start Scanning]. F Scanning starts. NOTE When printing with the imprinter, ink may get on the leading edge of the document because the documents are ejected onto the printed surface. NOTE For instructions on using the scanning utility, see "How to Use the Scanning Utility," on p. 19. You can also refer to the scanning utility help in the [Help] menu.
