C Set the [Page Size] in the [Basic] tab to [Auto detection] when scanning in the Long Document mode. H Pinch the Eject Stopper and slide it to detach. D Then, set the [Long Document mode] value in the [Others] tab. You can scan documents up to 2,000 mm (78.7") long by setting the scanner to the Long Document mode. Select [Standard] or [2000mm] depending on the length of the document. E Click [OK] to close the scanner driver settings screen. F Pull out the document feed tray. I Load the document. G Pull out the Eject Stopper. horizontal CAUTION • When scanning long documents whose length are more than 228 mm (9.0"), place one document at a time. Otherwise, it may damage the documents. • When feeding the document, support it to keep the same height between the document and the feed path. If the document is lower than the feed path, the document may be torn. If the document is higher than the feed path, the scanned image may be skewed. • The lower edge of a thin long document may be damaged with feeding. Do not feed the document fed many times or torn documents. 26
