Each port supports six types of serial interfaces: EIA/TIA-232, EIA/TIA-449, X.21, V.35 in both DTE and DCE modes, and EIA530/EIA530A in DTE mode. The serial end of the Smart Serial cable is a 26-pin connector. These cables are used with the 2-port serial and 2-port asynchronous/synchronous WAN interface cards. Figure B-17 shows the serial transition cables you can connect to the DB-60 port on the asynchronous/synchronous serial modules and serial WAN interface card.
