NOTE:Thepulleyadaptermay slideoff theauger inputshaftwhen removingthe pulley.Useextra cautionto ensurethe adapterdoes fall and/orget damagedwhenremovingthe pulley. 8. Placethe newaugerbelt in the V-grooveof theauger pulleyand placethe pulleyw/belt insidethe belt keepers. 9. Turnthepulleyas necessaryto alignits threeslotsapproximately 10. Slidethe washeronto the hexscrewremovedearlierand apply Loctite262 to the threadsof the hexscrew. 11. Insertthe hexscrewthroughthe pulleyassemblyand intothe threadsof the input shaft.Torquethe hexscrewto 250-325in. Ibs.to securethe auger pulleyassemblyon the inputshaft. 12. If also replacingthedrive belt, proceedto the"DriveBelt" instructions. If not, repositionthetransmissionframe backonto the auger housing.Installthe drivebelton the enginepulley, re-connectthe augercablez-fittingand auger idler rod ferrule to the brakebracket.Repositionand securethe enginepulley beltguard,and re-installthebelt cover. NOTE:Makesureto removethe pieceof wood blockingthe impeller. withthe postsof the pulleyadapter,thenmovethe brakebracket assemblyawayfrom the inputshaft. Whilealigningthe pulley slotsand adapterposts, pushthe augerpulleyfully ontothe adapter.Referto Figure32. 22

placethe pulleyw/belt insidethe belt keepers.

Turnthepulleyas necessaryto alignitsthreeslotsapproximately
withthepostsofthepulleyadapter,thenmovethe brakebracket
assemblyawayfrom the inputshaft. Whilealigningthe pulley
slotsandadapterposts,pushtheaugerpulleyfullyontothe
adapter.Referto Figure32.
