Fiber Port Events: Monitors the Fiber port status. Link Up/Link Down: A trap displaying a change in link status in the fiber port. Copper Port Events: Monitors the copper port status. Abnormal* Receive Error: A trap displaying a receive data error in the copper port. Abnormal* Transmit Error: A trap displaying a transmit data error in the copper port. Abnormal*: 50 error packet count within 10 seconds. Set Password Password is the invaluable tool used to secure Web Management Switch. Use this function to change the password. If you forget the password, press the "Reset" button in the rear panel of the Switch. The current settings, including VLAN, Port Setting... etc., will be lost and the Switch will restore to the default setting. Figure 19. Set Password Backup Setting The backup tools help you to backup the current settings of the Switch. To backup your settings, press the "Backup" button. To restore a current settings file to the device, you must specify the backup file and click on the "Restore" button to process the setting of the recorded file. Figure 20. Backup Setting Note: when restoring a recorded file, the current password will not be erased. Reset Setting The Factory Reset button helps you to reset the device back to the default settings from the factory. Be aware that the entire configuration will be reset; the IP address of the device will be set to default setting of 192.168.0.1. Logout Figure 21. Reset Setting When pressing the "Logout" button, you will be logged out and the Web configuration will return to the first Login page. 17

Set Password
Password is the invaluable tool used to secure Web Management Switch. Use this function to change the password.

Backup Setting
