D-Link DES-3326S Layer 3 Switch Parameter Description Profile ID Type in a unique identifier number for this profile set or allow an ID to be automatically assigned by checking the Auto Assign option. This value can be set from 1 - 255. The profile ID sets the relative priority for the profile and specifies an index number that will identify the cpu access profile being created with this command. Priority is set relative to other profiles where the lowest profile ID has the highest priority. Access Profile Select profile based on Ethernet (MAC Address) or IP address. This will change the menu according to the requirements for the type of profile. Select Ethernet to instruct the switch to examine the layer 2 part of each packet header. Select IP to instruct the switch to examine the IP address in each frame's header. VLAN Selecting this option instructs the switch to examine the VLAN part of each packet header and use this as the, or part of the criterion for forwarding. Source MAC Mask Enter a MAC address mask for the source MAC address. Destination MAC Mask Destination MAC Mask - Enter a MAC address mask for the destination MAC address. 802.1p Selecting this option instructs the switch to examine the 802.1p priority value of each packet header and use this as the, or part of the criterion for forwarding. Ethernet type Selecting this option instructs the Switch to examine the Ethernet type value in each frame's header. Click Apply to set this entry in the Switch's memory.
