When IP multicast routing is disabled, the system will stop routing multicast packets even though the multicast routing protocol is enabled. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in IP Multicast Table Lookup Mode are described below: Parameter Table Lookup Mode Description Select the IP multicast forwarding lookup mode here. Options to choose from are: • IP - Specifies multicast forwarding lookup based on the IP address. • MAC - Specifies multicast forwarding lookup based on the MAC address. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in IP Multicast Boundary are described below: Parameter VID ACL Name Filter Mode Description Enter the VLAN ID that will be used here. The range is from 1 to 4094. Enter the name of the standard IP access list that will be used here. This name can be up to 32 characters long. Click the Please Select button to select a preconfigured access list and use it here. Select the filter mode here. Options to choose from are: • Both - Specifies to filter both incoming and outgoing traffic. • Out - Specifies to filter the PIM join message or IGMP join message arriving at the interface. This filtering prevent the interface from becoming an outgoing interface for the denied (*,G) or (S,G) entries. • In - Specifies to filter the multicast user traffic arriving at the interface based 344
