To remove the microphone and cable: a) Disconnect the microphone module cable from the system board [1]. b) Remove the microphone module cable from the routing guides on the display assembly base [2]. c) Remove the four screws (M2x2.5) that secure the microphone modules to the middle frame [3]. d) Lift the microphone modules off the slots on the middle frame [4].
