DIMMs To remove a DIMM from one of the three DIMM sockets, follow these steps: 1. Remove the system power supply. 2. Locate the three DIMM sockets (see Figure 5-18). 3. DIMMs
To remove a DIMM from one of the three DIMM sockets, follow these steps:
1.
Remove the system power supply.
2.
Locate the three DIMM sockets (see Figure 5-18).
3.
To remove a DIMM, push outward on the DIMM socket’s securing
clips until the DIMM is released from its socket.
4.
Lift the DIMM away from the socket.
