DIMMs To remove a DIMM from one of the three DIMM sockets, follow these steps: 1. Remove the system power supply. 2. Locate the three DIMM sockets (see Figure 6-20). 3. To remove a DIMM, push outward on the DIMM socket's securing clips until the DIMM is released from its socket. 4. Lift the DIMM away from the socket. securing clips (2) 2. 1. Figure 6-21. Video Memory You can upgrade video memory from 2 to 4 MB by installing a video-memory upgrade module in the video-memory upgrade socket on the system board. Adding additional video memory increases the system's video performance and provides additional modes for high-resolution/expanded color applications.
