ip igmp snooping mcrtrexpiretime This command sets the Multicast Router Present Expiration time. The time is set on a particular VLAN. This is the amount of time in seconds that a switch waits for a query to be received on an interface before the interface is removed from the list of interfaces with multicast routers attached. The range is 1-2147483647 seconds. A value of 0 indicates an infinite time-out (no expiration). The no form of this command sets the Multicast Router Present Expiration time to 0. The time is set for a particular VLAN. Syntax ip igmp snooping mcrtexpiretime vlan-id seconds no ip igmp mcrtexpiretime vlan-id • vlan id - Number assigned to the VLAN • seconds - Multicast router present expiration time. (Range: 1-3600) Default Configuration The default multicast router present expiration time is 300 seconds. Command Mode VLAN Configuration mode User Guidelines This command has no user guidelines. Example The following example sets the multicast router present expiration time on VLAN 2 to 60 seconds. console(config-vlan)#ip igmp mcrtexpiretime 2 60 283
