Routing Information Protocol Command Description Mode* auto-summary Enables the RIP auto-summarization mode. RIP default-information originate Controls the advertisement of default routes. RIP default-metric Sets a default for the metric of distributed routes. RIP distance rip Sets the route preference value of RIP in the router. RIP distribute-list out Specifies the access list to filter routes received from the RIP source protocol. enable Resets the default administrative mode of RIP in the router RIP (active). hostroutesaccept Enables the RIP hostroutesaccept mode. RIP ip rip Enables RIP on a router interface. IC ip rip authentication Sets the RIP Version 2 Authentication Type and Key for the IC specified interface. ip rip receive version Configures the interface to allow RIP control packets of the IC specified version(s) to be received. ip rip send version Configures the interface to allow RIP control packets of the IC specified version to be sent. redistribute Configures OSPF protocol to allow redistribution of routes PIP from the specified source protocol/routers. router rip Enters Router RIP mode. GC show ip rip Displays information relevant to the RIP router. PE show ip rip interface Displays information related to a particular RIP interface. PE show ip rip interface brief Displays general information for each RIP interface. PE split-horizon Sets the RIP split horizon mode. RIP *NOTE: For the meaning of each Mode abbreviation, see "Mode Types" on page 49. Tunnel Interface Command interface tunnel show interface tunnel tunnel destination Description Enables the interface configuration mode for a tunnel. Displays the parameters related to tunnel such as tunnel mode, tunnel source address and tunnel destination address. Specifies the destination transport address of the tunnel. Mode* GC PE IC 91
