Use the following procedure to install a Dell PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller host adapter card. Refer to the documentation accompanying the host adapter card. See "Removing the Computer Covers" in Chapter 7. Detach one end of the cable from the SCSI host adapter connector labeled "SCSI1" on the system board. Detach the other end of the cable from the connector labeled "SCSIA" on the SCSI backplane board. See "Installing an Expansion Card" in Chapter 8. If you are installing one or more SCSI host adapter cards, the boot order is influenced by the particular expansion slot in which the card is installed.
