Fan specifications The PowerEdge MX7000 enclosure supports four front accessible hot-swap cooling fans and five rear accessible hot-swap cooling fans. The cooling fan assembly ensures that the key components of the server such as the sleds, Fabrics, and I/O modules get adequate air circulation to keep them cool. A cooling fan failure can result in overheating and may lead to damage. Table 15.
