Installing the I/O Panel 1. Place the I/O panel at it's location on the computer. 2. Replace the screw to secure the I/O panel to the computer. 3. Route the cables through the metal clips. 4. Replace the cover. 5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer. Removing the Processor 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove the cover. 3. Disconnect the heat sink and fan-assembly cable from the system board. 4. Loosen the captive screws that secures the heat sink and fan assembly to the system board. 21

Installing the I/O Panel
1.
Place the I/O panel at it's location on the computer.
2.
Replace the screw to secure the I/O panel to the computer.
3.
Route the cables through the metal clips.
4.
Replace the cover.

Remove the cover.
3.
Disconnect the heat sink and fan-assembly cable from the system board.
4.
Loosen the captive screws that secures the heat sink and fan assembly to the system board.
