Steps 1. Locate the power button with fingerprint reader on your computer. 2. Remove the three (M2.5x5) screws that secure the right display hinge to the palmrest assembly. 3. Lift the right display hinge.
4.
Lift the latch and disconnect the power button cable from the connector on the system board.
5.
Disconnect the fingerprint reader cable from the connector on the power button cable.
6.
Remove the two (M2x2) screws that secure the power button bracket to the palmrest assembly.
7.
Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the power button to the palmrest assembly
8.
Lift the power button with fingerprint reader off the palmrest assembly.
