For removal of any other type of PCI or PCI Express cards, see "Removing PCI and PCI Express Cards" on page 85. 1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 75. 2 Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on page 76). 3 If present, press the tab on the card retention device that lays over the installed cards and rotate it upwards to gain full access to the card. 4 Gently securing both graphics cards with one hand, remove the graphics card bridge (if present) with your other hand by pulling it up and away from the computer. Removing a PCI Express Graphics Card from a Dual Configuration
NOTE:

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page75.

Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on page 76).

If present, press the tab on the card retention device that lays over the installed cards and rotate it
upwards to gain full access to the card.

Gently securing both graphics cards with one hand, remove the graphics card bridge (if present) with
your other hand by pulling it up and away from the computer. Set it aside.
