ENGLISH 11 PLATTER EFFECT q, e r, t y, u BRAKE BRAKE Simulates a winding-down sound of a turntable coming to a full stop slowly. 1-1 Set the BRAKE mode q The BRAKE function can be turned on by pushing the BRAKE button. Select the BRAKE time When the BRAKE function is turned on, the PARAMETERS and BRAKE indicator flashes for 3 seconds and the BRAKE time is displayed. There is a 3 second "auto parameter exit mode" if no action is taken after the BRAKE button is initially pushed and after the PARAMETERS knob is adjusted. 1-2 w The BRAKE time can be selected with the PARAMETERS knob. • When the PARAMETERS knob is pushed, the time is entered and the BRAKE time selection mode is cancelled. *1 BRAKE time is displayed on play position indicator. w Start the BRAKE 1-3 ★1 The BRAKE is activated when the PLAY/PAUSE (13) button is pushed during playback. Stop the BRAKE 1-4 ★2 The BRAKE mode can be cancelled by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE (13) button again during this effect. BRAKE mode off e When the BRAKE button is pressed, the BRAKE time 1-5 selection mode is set. If the BRAKE button is pressed again during this time, the BRAKE functions is turned off. DUMP DUMP Reverse playback is performed for the specified time. Plays the sound backwards while continuing in a forward motion without losing "elapsed time" when you return back to normal (forward) play. 2-1 Start the DUMP playback r The DUMP function can be turned on and Dump playback start by pushing the DUMP button during playback. DUMP EFFECT • Each push of the DUMP button 2-2 switches between DUMP playback and normal playback. • The dump play turns off when the Hot Start or stutter is started. DUMP mode off t If the DUMP button is pressed 2-3 when in the DUMP mode, the DUMP mode is turned off. REVERSE Start the REVERSE playback y The REVERSE function can be 3-1 turned on and reverse playback start by pushing the REVERSE button during playback.
