Please select the types of connections suited for the equipment you are connecting. With some types of connections, certain settings must be made on the S-52. For details, refer to the instructions for the respective connection items below. NOTE • Do not plug in the power cord until all connections have been completed. • When making connections, also refer to the owner's manual of the other components. Open the lid and mount the adapter suited for your iPod onto the S52's adapter insertion slot. iPod Adapter An F-type FM antenna cable plug can be connected directly. NOTE The S-52 is not compatible with the iPod shuffle. NOTE
Note that leaning the iPod forward or backward when connecting it to or
disconnecting it from the dock for iPod may damage the connector.
Keep the dock for iPod’s lid closed when your iPod is not connected to
prevent any foreign objects from getting inside.

This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer’s
attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC which provides guidelines for
proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground
shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as
close to the point of cable entry as practical.
