Getting Started Connections Setup Playback Information Troubleshooting ENGLISH Connecting the Power Cord Protector circuit The protection circuit will be activated in the following cases: • When the temperature around the set is extremely high • When the set is used for long periods of time with a high output and the internal temperature rises Speaker output is suspended when the protector circuit operates. In this case, remove the power cord, make sure there is adequate ventilation and wait for the main unit to cool down. Afterwards, reinsert the power cord. If the protection circuit is activated again even though there are no problems with the wiring or the ventilation around the unit, switch off the power and contact a DENON service center. To household power outlet (AC 120 V, 60 Hz) Power cord (Supplied) NOTE • Only use the supplied power cord. • Be sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet before connecting or disconnecting it to the AC inlet. 10

Protector circuit
The protection circuit will be activated in the following cases:
• When the temperature around the set is extremely high
• When the set is used for long periods of time with a high output
and the internal temperature rises
Speaker output is suspended when the protector circuit operates.
In this case, remove the power cord, make sure there is adequate
ventilation and wait for the main unit to cool down. Afterwards, re-
insert the power cord.
If the protection circuit is activated again even though there are no
problems with the wiring or the ventilation around the unit, switch off
the power and contact a DENON service center.
