The music (files) downloaded from such sites can be stored on CD-R or CD-RW discs and played on the S-52. 1 Load a CD-R or CD-RW disc containing music files in the MP3 or WMA format into the CD slot (vpage 3). 2 Select the folder you want to play using or [ui], then press ENTER. "Windows Media" and "Windows" are registered trademarks or trademarks in the United States and other countries of Microsoft Corporation of the United States. Creating MP3 and WMA Files Compatible with the S-52 (CD-R/CD-RW) • Writing software format: "ISO9660 level 1". If the file is stored in a different format, it may not play properly. See the writing software's instructions. • The maximum number of files and folders Total number of folders and files: 1000 The maximum folders: 255 • Incompatible: Packet write, playlists. • Be sure to give the extension ".MP3" or ".WMA" to MP3 or WMA files. The files cannot be played if they have any other extensions. Changing the Folder or File During Playback Use RETURN to display the list, then use , [ui] or 8 9 to select the folder or file. Copyright-protected files cannot be played. Note that depending on the software used for burning and other conditions, some files may not play or display correctly.
