34 DX-19L200A12 Changing the TV setup Using advanced closed captioning To use advanced closed captioning: 1 Press MENU. The Main Menu screen appears. Main Menu Picture Audio CH Channel Lock Setup >> 6 Press or to select CC Advanced, then press or ENTER. The CC Advanced menu opens. CC Advanced Text Size Text Type Text Edge Text Color Text Opacity Background Color Background Opacity Auto Auto Auto Auto Auto Auto Auto :Select ENTER :Set 2 Press or to select Setup, then press or ENTER. The Setup menu opens. Setup Closed Caption Language Video Label On Timer Auto Shut Off Auto Setup >> English >> Off On >> :Select ENTER :Set 3 Press or to select Closed Caption, then press or ENTER. The Closed Caption menu opens. Closed Caption CC Setting CC Priority Analog Caption Digital Caption Digital CC Preset CC Advanced Off Digital CC C1 CS1 Default >> :Select :Adjust 4 Press or to set CC Setting to On (turns closed captioning on), to display closed captions on the screen. 5 Press or to select Digital CC Preset, then press or to select Custom. :Select :Adjust 7 Press or to select the setting you want to change, then press or to change the setting. You can select the following items: Text Size: Auto, Small, Standard, Large Text Type: Auto, Style1, Style2, Style3, Style4, Style5, Style6, Style7 Text Edge: Auto, None, Raised, Depressed, Uniform, Left Shadow, Right Shadow Text Color: Auto, Black, White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, Cyan Text Opacity: Auto, Solid, Transparent, Translucent, Flashing Background Color: Auto, Black, White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, Cyan Background Opacity: Auto, Solid, Transparent, Translucent, Flashing Notes: • You cannot set both Text Color and Background Color the same. • You cannot set both Text Opacity and Background Opacity to Transparent. Changing the OSD language You can choose from three different languages (English, Français [French], and Español [Spanish]) for the OSDs (on-screen displays). Select the language you prefer first, then proceed with the other menu options. To change the OSD language: 1 Press MENU. The Main Menu screen appears.
