CompuServe On-line Support The fastest way to access helpful tips, specifications, drivers, application notes, tables for DIP switch or jumper settings, and bulletins for EPSON products is through the Epson America Forum on CompuServe. If you are already a CompuServe member, simply type GO EPSON at the menu prompt to reach the Epson America Forum. If you are not currently a member of CompuServe, select the Membership Signup icon in FocalPoint or in the Windows CompuServe program group, and check the CompuServe brochure for information on subscribing to the service. Multimedia Systems If you purchased a multimedia system, your computer also comes with a double-speed CD-ROM drive, a 16-bit sound card, and two speakers. The CD-ROM drive and the sound card are already installed. You need only connect the speakers to the computer. Caution If you have a multimedia tower system, do not place the computer on its side because the CD-ROM drive cannot operate in a vertical position. This section describes your sound card and multimedia software, and tells you how to connect the speakers and test your system. It also includes instructions for running any MS-DOS-based game software you may have. 8 Read This First
