Parent topic: Turning On the Projector Turning Off the Projector Before turning off the projector, turn off any connected devices and shut down any computer connected to it so you can see the computer display during shutdown. Note: Turn off this product when not in use to prolong the life of the projector. Laser life will vary depending upon mode selected, environmental conditions, and usage. Brightness decreases over time. Note: When using the A/V Mute feature, the laser is still on. To turn off the laser, turn off the projector. 1. Press the power button on the projector or remote control. The projector displays a shutdown confirmation screen. Note: If Standby Confirmation is disabled and you press the power button on the remote control, the confirmation screen is not shown and the projector shuts off. 2. Press the power button again. (To leave it on, press any other button.) The laser turns off and the Status light flashes as the projector cools down. Caution: Do not turn the projector on immediately after turning it off. Turning the projector on and off frequently may shorten the life of the laser. 58

Turning Off the Projector
Before turning off the projector, turn off any connected devices and shut down any computer connected
to it so you can see the computer display during shutdown.
Note:
Turn off this product when not in use to prolong the life of the projector. Laser life will vary
depending upon mode selected, environmental conditions, and usage. Brightness decreases over time.
Note:
When using the A/V Mute feature, the laser is still on. To turn off the laser, turn off the projector.

Press the power button on the projector or remote control.
The projector displays a shutdown confirmation screen.
Note:
If
Standby Confirmation
is disabled and you press the power button on the remote control,
the confirmation screen is not shown and the projector shuts off.
2.
Press the power button again. (To leave it on, press any other button.)
The laser turns off and the Status light flashes as the projector cools down.
Caution:
