Setting Platen Gap Options Various settings Drying Time Per Pass 0 seconds to 10 seconds Paper Size Check On Off Paper Feed Stabilizer On Off Paper Skew Check On Off 139 Description Adjusts the gap between the media and the print head. Leave the setting at the default for most media. If printouts are smeared, increase the setting. Lets you adjust the amount of time the head pauses between each pass. If the image is blurring on the paper, you may need to increase the drying time per pass. Automatically detects the width of the loaded media. Turn off this setting only if the printer displays a paper setting error when media is loaded correctly. Changed settings take effect when you reload paper. Caution: Disabling this setting may cause the printer to print outside the margins of the loaded media and may cause ink to build up inside the printer. Automatically detects and corrects any paper feed pitch changes. Disable this setting when using any transparent or colored media. Stops printing when skewed paper is detected. Leave this setting turned on to avoid paper jams.
