The file size is too big. Adjust your scan settings. Try selecting a lower resolution (dpi), saving the file in a different format, or scanning only part of the image. Typically, 300 dpi is adequate for images that will be printed. The printed image is larger or smaller than the original size. You have changed the resolution or scaled your image. The image size settings in your software determine the size of the printed image. A dotted line appears in the image. ■ If this happens on both your screen and printout, clean the scanner glass with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth (paper towels are not recommended). If the glass is still not clean, use a small amount of glass cleaner on a soft cloth. Make sure you wipe off any remaining cleaner. Don't spray glass cleaner directly on the glass. ■ If the line is just on your printout, you may need to clean your print head; see page 58. RX620 Screen Problems You can't read the menus or view photos on the RX620 screen. ■ You may need to adjust the RX620 screen contrast setting. Press the Setup button, then select LCD Contrast Adjustment and press OK. Use the l and r buttons to adjust the contrast, then press OK when done. ■ The RX620 screen may be in sleep mode to protect the screen. If you see a message floating on the screen, press any button on the RX620 to wake the screen. Then press the button for the task you want to perform. Problems and Solutions 71

when done.
