DIP switches excluding switch 2-1 (Auto line feed) and switches 2-7 and 2-8 (interface reset signal) are effective only while the printer power is turned on. If the DIP switch setting is changed after the printer power is turned on, the change is not effective. 4. If DIP switch 2-7 or 2-8 is on while the printer power is turned on, the printer may be reset, depending on the signal state. DIP switches should not be operated while the printer power is turned on. Setting Up the Printer
Notes:
1.
When pin 6 of the interface connector is used for the reset signal, the printer is
reset at MARK on the RS-232C level.
2.
When pin 25 of the interface connector is used for the reset signal, the printer
is reset at SPACE on the RS-232C level or at HIGH on the TTL level.
3.
DIP switches excluding switch 2-1 (Auto line feed) and switches 2-7 and 2-8
(interface reset signal) are effective only while the printer power is turned on.
If the DIP switch setting is changed after the printer power is turned on, the
