ENERGY-SAVING TIPS • Pre-heat the oven only when indicated in the recipe. • It is better to use dark colored bakeware, preferably enamelled in black, as these materials absorb heat particularly well. • If you wish to make several cakes at one time, we recommend that you cook one cake after the other. As the oven is already hot, the baking times of second and subsequent cakes are shorter. • If you are using the oven continuously for a long time, you can switch the oven off for 5 or 10 minutes before the time indicated and take advantage of the residual heat to finish cooking your food. 36
