A LAN option ROM lets you set up a diskless workstation on the network. By installing a option ROM in the network board, you can enable a client PC system on the network to be booted remotely. ► Onboard FDC Controller This item is used to enabled FDC controller. ► Onboard Serial Port 1 This item is used to assign the I/O address and interrupt request(IRQ) for the onboard serial port 1. ►Onboard Parallel Port This item is used to assign the I/O address and interrupt request(IRQ) for the onboard parallel port. ► Parallel Port Mode This item is used to set parallel port mode. ► ECP Mode Use DMA When the Parallel Port Mode is set to ECP or ECP+ EPP, this option is used to select the channel for the ECP mode. 26
