5.3 Remedying Common Troubles This section describes troubles that may occur during scanning and how to remedy them. Before you ask for repair service, check the following flowcharts. If you cannot solve the problem after checking the remedies in the flowcharts, check the items in "5.4 Items to check before contacting the agent where you bought the scanner" (page 127) and then contact the agent at which you bought the scanner or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider. Symptom 1 Scanner cannot be turned ON. Are power cable and AC adapter correctly connected? NO Correctly connect power cable. YES Are you using the correct AC cable NO and AC adapter supplied with the scanner from the manufacturer? YES You must use the AC adapter and cable supplied with your scanner by the manufacturer. Please get the correct AC adapter and cable to connect to your scanner. Did you push the power button?
