Switching the wireless components on and off Before switching on your device for the first time, the on/off switch for wireless components must be in the "ON" position. ► Slide the ON/OFF switch into the "ON" position to activate the wireless components. or BWluire tleo ossthLA N ► Slide the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position to deactivate the wireless components. The Bluetooth and UMTS modules and the wireless LAN transmission unit (antenna) will also be switched off when you switch off the wireless components. You can also deactivate the wireless components individually in the BIOS Setup. In order to be able to do this, you will either need to know the supervisor password if one has been assigned, or no password must have been assigned. Please read the additional safety notes for devices with wireless components in the "Safety" manual. Details on using Wireless LAN can be found in the online help system included in the Wireless LAN software. You can find more information on how to use Bluetooth on the CD you received with your Bluetooth software. You can obtain more information on UMTS from your service provider.
