additional setup information 6 This section describes how to set the language, country/region, and how to set up your HP Fax with other office equipment. The standard installation instructions are provided in your Setup Poster, we recommend keeping it for later use. set the language and country/region Usually, you set the language and country/region the first time you turn the HP Fax on. If you would like to change the country/region or language, use the following procedure. Tip - If you are unable to read the front-panel display language, but need to reset it, press Setup, 5, 5. Follow the onscreen instructions. 1 Press Setup until 5:Maintenance appears, and then press Enter. 2 Press until 5:Set Language & Country/Region appears, and then press Enter. 3 Watch the display until the desired language appears. Enter the language code on the keypad. Press 1 for yes or 2 for no when the display asks you to confirm your selection. After the language is selected, you are prompted with all the countries/ regions for that selected language. 4 Watch the display until the desired country/region appears. Enter the country/region code on the keypad. Press 1 for yes or 2 for no when the display asks you to confirm your selection.
