Because they are not HP products, HP cannot influence their design or control their quality. Service or repair required as a result of using a non-HP print cartridge will not be covered under the printer warranty. If you use a non-HP print cartridge, the printer is unable to report on the number of pages that can still be printed with the amount of toner left in the cartridge. The toner level estimate will only be an approximate percentage.
