A Printing using PostScript emulation Note Information in this appendix is for Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, and Windows NT 4.0 only. If you are running another Windows operating system, please see the online help for your operating system. Operating system Windows 98, Millennium Edition Windows NT 4.0 Installation notes Version number Microsoft PScript Driver Version 4.01 and HP Business Inkjet 3000 PPD Microsoft PScript Driver Version 4.50 and HP Business Inkjet 3000 PPD When you are operating in a Windows environment, the setup software will detect the version of the operating system that you are running. The software will be installed in the language based on the regional settings configured in the Windows Control Panel. This means that you can be running an English version of Windows and have the language preference set to Spanish, and the installation utility will install the Spanish version of the printing software. Upgrading from an older version of Windows After completing the upgrade to a new version of Windows, you must reinstall the printer driver. For example, if you upgrade from Windows NT 4.0, you must reinstall the printer driver. ENWW A-1
