Creating a Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) file If you intend to print photos directly from the memory card on a printer that has a built-in card reader, you can streamline the printing process by creating a DPOF file. To create a DPOF file, you use the DPOF camera menu to select which photos you want to print. Then, when you insert the memory card into your DPOF-compatible printer, the printer reads the DPOF file and prints the specified photos.
