Left speaker, Remove the speaker from the base enclosure

Left speaker NOTE: The left speaker spare part kit includes xxxxxx Description Left speaker Spare part number L17085-001 IMPORTANT: Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal and replacement. Before removing the left speaker, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the display panel (see Display panel assembly on page 20), and then remove the following components: ▲ Battery (see Battery on page 24). Remove the left speaker: 1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1). 2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (2) that secure the speaker to the base enclosure. 3. IMPORTANT:
Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal
and replacement.
Before removing the left speaker, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by
first
unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the display panel (see
Display panel assembly
on page
20
), and then remove the following
components:
Battery (see
Battery
on page
24
).
Remove the left speaker:
1.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board

2.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws
(2)
that secure the speaker to the base enclosure.
3.
Remove the speaker from the base enclosure

.
Reverse this procedure to install the left speaker.
