Insert a screw driver or similar thin tool into the keyboard release opening in the wireless module compartment, and then press on the back of the keyboard until the keyboard disengages from the computer. 5. Remove the optical drive connector cable: 1. Disconnect the optical drive connector cable (1) from the system board. 2. Release the three clips (2) built into the base enclosure that secure the optical drive connector to the base enclosure. 3. Remove the optical drive connector cable (3). Remove the power connector cable: 1. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.5 screw (1) and the Phillips PM2.0×5.5 screw (2) that secure the power connector and bracket to the base enclosure. 2.
