Release the ZIF connector to which the keyboard backlight cable, then disconnect the keyboard cable

7. Lift the rear edge of the keyboard (1) until the keyboard rests at an angle, and then swing the top edge of the keyboard (2) up and forward until it rests upside down on the palm rest. 8. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached, and then disconnect the keyboard cable (2) from the system board. 9.
