Open the computer. 3. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the TouchPad cable is attached, and then disconnect the TouchPad cable (2) from the system board. 4. Detach the TouchPad cable (3) from the bottom cover. (The TouchPad cable is attached to the bottom cover with double-sided tape.) 5. Close the computer. 6. Turn the computer upside down with the rear toward you. 7. Disconnect the display panel cable (1) from the system board. 8. Remove the system board:
1.
Turn the computer right side up, with the front toward you.
2.
Open the computer.
3.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
to which the TouchPad cable is attached, and then disconnect
the TouchPad cable
(2)
from the system board.
4.
Detach the TouchPad cable
(3)
from the bottom cover. (The TouchPad cable is attached to the bottom
cover with double-sided tape.)
5.
Close the computer.
6.
Turn the computer upside down with the rear toward you.
7.
Disconnect the display panel cable
(1)
from the system board.
8.
Remove the Phillips PPM2.0×2.9 screw
(2)
and the Phillips PPM2.0×2.3 broad head screw
(3)
that
secure the system board to the top cover.
