Table 6-4 Optimize modes Mode High Transfer (ON) Line Detail (OFF) More Separation 1 (ON) More Separation 2 (ON) Fuser Temp (REDUCED) Description Reduces the halo print-quality defect on electrically resistive media. No reason to turn it OFF. ON reduces toner scatter (toner explosions). Reduces potential for media to jam in the print cartridge during simplex jobs.
