Disconnect the battery (see Battery and speakers on page 32). 4. Remove the heat sink/fan assembly (see Heat sink/fan assembly on page 35). Remove the power connector cable: 1. Disconnect the cable from the system board (1). 2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 5.5 screws (2) that secure the bracket to the computer, and then remove the bracket (3). 3. Remove the power connector and cable from the computer (4). Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable. Component replacement procedures 39
