The HP OfficeJet has tried to dial the displayed fax number, but the phone line is already in use. It could be in use by a received fax because the phone is ringing or off the hook. And requires this action: No action is required. If you need to send a fax or make a copy, you can remove the document temporarily, then replace it when you are done. Refer to "Sending a Fax to Another Fax Machine Upon Request (Being Polled)" in chapter 2 for more information. No action is required. The HP OfficeJet will wait until the phone line is free, then dial the fax number.
