Using the Port Replicator Making Connections To connect a parallel device The port replicator's 25-pin parallel port is a standard enhanced (EPP/ECP) parallel port. Parallel connections typically are to printers or other computers. 1. Attach the parallel cable to the parallel port. 2. Dock the OmniBook in the port replicator. 3. If necessary, install your printer or other device driver.
