Expanding the OmniBook Installing a Hard Disk Drive To replace the hard disk drive holder If you are installing a new hard drive that does not have a cover, you can remove the cover parts from the old hard drive. You'll need a small flat blade screwdriver for this procedure. 1. Remove the screw from the case, then pry open the flap. If necessary, use a flat-blade screwdriver. 2. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry open the snaps at the ends of the case, then open the connector-side of the case. 1-82

To replace the hard disk drive holder
If you are installing a new hard drive that does not have a cover, you can remove the
cover parts from the old hard drive. You’ll need a small flat blade screwdriver for this
procedure.
1. Remove the screw from the case, then pry open the flap. If necessary, use a
flat-blade screwdriver.
2. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry open the snaps at the ends of the case, then
open the connector-side of the case.
