Reverse this procedure to install the display assembly. Power connector cable Description Power connector cable (includes bracket) Spare part number 730900-001 Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 27). 5. Remove the service cover (see Service cover on page 28). Remove the power connector cable: 1. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×5.5 screws (1) and the two Phillips PM2.5×10.5 screws (2) that secure the display assembly right hinge to the computer. 2. Open the display assembly right hinge (3) as far as it will open. 3. Disconnect the power connector cable (4) from the system board. 4. Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:

Remove the power connector cable:
1.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×5.5 screws

that

Open the display assembly right hinge

Disconnect the power connector cable

from the system board.
