Figure 19: Fibre Channel Port Information tab Port Information Field Definitions Port Attributes Area Field Definitions • Port WWN - The Port World Wide Name of the adapter. • Node WWN - The Node World Wide Name of the selected adapter. • Fabric Name or Host Name - The Fabric Name field is displayed in Host view. This is a 64-bit worldwide unique identifier assigned to the fabric. The Host Name is displayed in Fabric view. The host name is the name of the host containing the adapter. (Not supported on VMware ESX servers being managed through the CIM interface.) • Boot Version - The version of boot code installed on the selected adapter port. If the boot code is disabled, the field displays "Disabled". • Port FC ID - The Fibre Channel ID for the selected adapter port. • Driver Version - The version of the driver installed for the adapter. • Driver Name - The executable file image name for the driver as it appears in the Emulex driver download package. • Firmware Version - The version of Emulex firmware currently active on the adapter port. • Discovered Ports - The number of mapped and unmapped ports found during discovery by the Emulex adapter driver. The mapped ports are targets and the unmapped ports are non-targets such as switches or adapters. • Port Type - The current operational mode of the selected adapter's port.
