Removal and Replacement Procedures 3-51 System Board CAUTION: Static electricity can damage the electronic components of the workstation. Before beginning these procedures, be sure you are discharged of static electricity by briefly touching a grounded metal object. To remove and replace the system board (158272-001): 1. Perform the steps in the "Service Preparations" section as previously shown. CAUTION: Before removing the workstation access panel, ensure that the workstation is turned off, all cables are disconnected from the back of the workstation, and the power cord is disconnected from the grounded AC outlet. 2. Remove the workstation access panel. 3. With the workstation in the desktop position, remove the speaker. 4. Remove all expansion boards. 5. Disconnect all cables that are attached to the system board. 6. Remove the processor, processor guide rails, and the RIMMs or SDRAM expansion boards. 7. Remove the Terminator Board (if installed).

To remove and replace the system board (158272-001):
1.
Perform the steps in the “Service Preparations” section as previously shown.
CAUTION:
Before removing the workstation access panel, ensure that the workstation is
turned off, all cables are disconnected from the back of the workstation, and the power cord is
disconnected from the grounded AC outlet.
2.
Remove the workstation access panel.
3.
With the workstation in the desktop position, remove the speaker.
4.
Remove all expansion boards.
5.
