Concepts and Management Optimizing Performance Controller Data Path The data path through the controller is designed to transfer data between the disks and the host as efficiently as possible. However, under heavy I/O loads, bottlenecks may form in the data path. These bottlenecks can frequently be reduced by adding more hardware resources, such as cache RAM or disks. Figure 26. Controller Data Path
The data path through the controller is designed to transfer data between the disks and the host as
efficiently as possible. However, under heavy I/O loads, bottlenecks may form in the data path. These
