How to Forcibly Modify Resources Allocated to the 3COM EtherLink III 3C509B adapter: Do this only if needed and only if you are an advanced user. • Under BIOS setup, go to Advanced > ISA IRQ Resource Exclusion > re- serve an IRQ for the adapter. • Start the configuration tool, 3C5X9CFG.EXE, provided in driver kit (see install documentation). Using the utility, disable the adapter's Plug and Play capability then change the I/O Base Address and IRQ (This IRQ is the same as the one reserved under the BIOS setup). 3
