Obtaining On-Site Warranty Service To obtain on-site warranty service, the customer must contact an HP Sales and Service Office (in the US, call the HP Customer Support Center at (970) 635-1000) or a participating Authorized HP Computer Dealer Repair Center. The customer must be prepared to supply proof of the purchase date. The system processor unit, keyboard, mouse, and Hewlett-Packard accessories inside the system processor unit -such as video adapters, mass storage devices, and interface controllers- are covered by this warranty. During the on-site warranty period, customer-replaceable components may be serviced through expedited part shipment. In this event, HP will prepay shipping charges, duty, and taxes; provide telephone assistance on replacement of the component when necessary; and pay shipping charges, duty, and taxes for any part that HP asks to be returned.
